ACE: Adherence, Counseling and Education

What helps HIV+ men with medication adherence?
ACE is an intervention designed to help HIV+ individuals improve their adherence to HIV medications. Adherence to HIV medication can be difficult for many reasons (including side effects and complicated regimens), but substance use is often a particular barrier and concern. ACE is an 8-session intervention in which participants receive counseling and/or education focused on improving medication adherence, while also considering options for reducing or quitting substance use and other associated risk behaviors.
You will be compensated for an initial assessment and subsequent follow up.
